Microchip

  • What is a microchip?  A microchip is a small rice sized device that is implanted under the skin between the shoulder blades. Once placed, a microchip provides life long identification.
  • How do they work?  Once implanted, if your pet is ever lost, any veterinary clinic or rescue is able to scan for a microchip which would then provide them access to any information attached to the microchip. This results in owners getting their lost pets back quickly and efficiently!
